Country Vila Nova

Country Vila Nova is a residential development of about 15 hectares in Santa Bernardina, on the northern outskirts of the city of Durazno. The developers place it about 10 minutes from central Durazno and 40 minutes from Paso de los Toros. It is one of the few projects of its kind in central Uruguay.

The site is divided into 55 plots of 2,000 m² and is fully fenced. Infrastructure includes about 1,800 metres of gravel roads, an underground low-voltage power network, an internal drinking-water network connected to OSE through pumping equipment, solar-powered street lighting and ducting for fibre optics. More than 700 trees were planted as part of the landscaping.

Shared areas include wooded parks, a children's playground, a kids' bike track with circuits and ramps and a seven-a-side football pitch. The estate has building, planning and community rules that all residents sign. Unlike a classic gated community, the official site describes its roads as public.

Prices are not published; sales are handled directly by phone or WhatsApp. It suits Durazno families looking for a large plot with greenery and a degree of security close to town.
