About
Aura is a gated community in the El Golf area of Punta del Este and, according to its promoters, the only one bordering the Cantegril Country Club course. It launched in 2023 with about 25 hectares and 143 lots; after adding new blocks, the official website now lists 37 hectares and 232 lots from 1,000 m², split between lagoon-front, woodland or garden, and golf-view plots. The urban layout and shared areas were designed by the Pacífica studio.
The entrance is on Avenida Circunvalación, between San Pablo and Los Tilos, level with Parada 22 on Playa Brava. The sea is a little over a kilometre away and the Peninsula about five; schools, Punta Shopping and the Convention Centre are a few minutes' drive. The landscape pairs century-old trees with five naturalised ponds lined with membranes.
Streets are paved with concrete pavers and utilities — water, power, fibre optics and sewerage — run underground. Facilities include a club house with restaurant, three pools, a gym, tennis and padel courts, pickleball, a skate park, mini golf and a kids' area. At Parada 22 on the Brava, the Aura Beach House offers residents beach service and a tapas restaurant.
Only single-family homes of at least 200 m² built area are allowed. In 2025 lots were priced at U$D 400–805 per m², the most expensive facing the lagoons and the golf course; a 1,000 m² lot was listed at around U$D 420,000–440,000. It suits families living in Punta del Este year-round who want schools and services close by.
