About
Altos de la Tahona is the second gated community developed by La Tahona. It is named after its elevated site, which gives it open views over the surroundings. It covers 50 hectares with 240 lots averaging about 1,000 m²; one agency states a minimum lot size of 1,000 m² with 25 m of frontage.
Access is from Camino de los Horneros and Manuel Márquez street, opposite Lomas de la Tahona, in Canelones. Carrasco airport, Ciudad de la Costa and the Interbalnearia highway are a few minutes away.
The community has its own 9-hole par-3 golf course, a club house, gym, outdoor pool with sun deck, a floodlit tennis court, a padel court and a playground. A branch of the Bunny's Kinder kindergarten operates inside.
Monthly fees include a 24-hour gatehouse and security and a private shuttle to and from Montevideo; 2025–2026 listings show about UYU 13,000–17,000 a month. It is a fully established, low-density, family-oriented community.
