Mirador de la Tahona is one of the newer communities in the La Tahona group, aimed at young families. The developer says it was one of its best-selling projects and filled up quickly. It covers 51 hectares with 281 lots averaging about 1,000 m².

The site sits on higher ground with views toward Lomas and Cavas de la Tahona. Access is from Camino de los Horneros through its own gatehouse, and it borders Lomas de la Tahona. Carrasco airport is about 5 minutes away and downtown Montevideo about 30.

Facilities include a club house with barbecue area, an outdoor pool, football and volleyball courts and a children's playground.

Monthly fees cover a 24-hour gatehouse and security and a private shuttle to and from Montevideo; 2025–2026 listings show roughly UYU 12,000–20,000 a month. Most of what is for sale are finished houses; vacant lots come up only occasionally.
