About
Acres de Solanas is a 13-hectare (32-acre) gated community divided into 60 plots, located at km 2.5 of Ruta 12 near Laguna del Sauce. It was launched around 2012 as a low-density 'park neighbourhood' set in a pine wood and bordering the Club del Lago golf courses.
It is about 5 minutes from Laguna del Sauce airport, close to Portezuelo and Solanas beaches, some 20 minutes from central Punta del Este and an hour from Montevideo. It is not on the sea.
Its main selling point is direct access to the Club del Lago courses: some lots overlook the 9-hole executive course. At launch, buyers were given membership of Club del Lago and of the Laguna del Sauce nautical club; it is worth checking whether this still applies. Inside the community there are landscaped common areas, an artificial pond with a wooden bridge and an irrigation system.
Internal roads are paved, and there is an underground power grid, water, sewerage and fibre optics, a fenced perimeter with gate, barrier and guardhouse, and 24-hour security. Common charges are about U$D 150–200 a month.
According to the lot plan, plots range from about 1,380 to 3,035 m². In 2026 resale lots were listed between U$D 99,000 (1,650 m²) and U$D 242,800 (3,035 m²), roughly U$D 60–80 per m².
