About
El Puertito Boating Village is a very small gated community: 23 lots on an estate of about 9 hectares (90,285 m² according to the master plan) on the shore of Laguna del Sauce, entered from Ruta 12 at km 3.5. It bills itself as Punta del Este's first 'nautical country club' and is the only development with its own harbour on the whole lagoon.
It lies on the lagoon side of Ruta 12, close to Solanas beach and the Club del Lago golf courses. The Atlantic coast is about 3.5 km away and Laguna del Sauce airport a few minutes; agencies put Punta del Este at 15–20 minutes. It is not on the sea: the water that matters here is the lagoon, used for sailing, rowing and fishing.
The heart of the community is the private harbour with a floating marina, mooring jetty, slipway, boat storage for small craft and a lakeside club house with a bar. According to the master plan, common areas total 33,240 m² (roads, park, harbour and services) and private lots 57,045 m²; lots range from 2,000 to 4,136 m². There is a single entrance with an administration building, barrier and access control; listings mention 24-hour security.
An internal architectural code applies: the master plan assigns each lot one or two storeys so that most plots keep their view of the lagoon. Owners are reported to join Club del Lago as preferred members without an entry fee; this is worth confirming when buying.
In 2026 resale lots were listed between U$D 260,000 (2,000 m²) and U$D 480,000 (about 2,600 m²), alongside finished houses and houses under construction. It suits buyers who want their boat a few metres from home, in a wooded setting with very few neighbours.
