Las Coronillas is a gated community of large country estates on Laguna José Ignacio, entered from Camino Saiz Martínez at km 3.5, in the area known as Medellín Faro. The village of José Ignacio is about 5 minutes away by car. The land is rolling, with meadows, ponds and native coronilla woodland, and sunset views over the lagoon.
The official site speaks of only 22 estates of 5 hectares; another agent mentions 100 hectares and 18 estates. In 2025 a 5 ha estate in the second row from the lagoon was listed for U$D 2,200,000.
Access is controlled through a single gate on Camino Saiz Martínez. All utilities run underground, and each plot has electricity and piped water from Aguas de la Costa. A gravel road winds through the estate between ponds, woods and hills. The agency Mare Realty describes it as a community still developing, with private houses under construction.
It is a low-density option for buyers who want plenty of land, privacy and lagoon views very close to the village. The sources give no information on shared amenities, common charges or building rules.
